Tres Femme
Wednesday, June 28th, 2006Today, we’re looking at a distributor in the Clothing & Accessories category - Tres Femme. Tres Femme carries a variety of girly accessories, lip balms, and t shirts. Their t shirts are vaguely reminiscent of Juicy Couture, and they have trendy home accessories that would look right at home in a tween or teen’s bedroom.

Hello, Hello, Hello!
Tuesday, June 13th, 2006Let me just say upfront that this isn’t going to be a nice little business blog with general suggestions like “do your research”, “work hard”, and “network”. I’ve read enough of those websites to know that they don’t really help when you’re just starting out. I want to give you the information you can use to start and maintain a successful business, complete with all the stuff that no one else will tell you (for free, anyway).
I absolutely will name names (of product suppliers and manufacturers) and give away trade secrets. I don’t come from a lot of money, so I’ve never been able to get behind the idea of keeping all the valuable information within the “circle” of other people who make a lot of money.
I am starting this blog in response to the dozens of requests I’ve gotten for more information about what I do and how I do it. I realized that almost no one is willing to help someone new learn, and not everyone has the kind of time and resources that I had when I was getting started in all of this.
So, if you’re a divorced mom looking to pick up some extra cash, a young guy hoping to support his family, or just a person who’s sick of making your boss rich, I’ll do my best to help you learn what it takes to start and run a successful small business.
I hope to keep up this site for as long as I can justify spending the time on it. I’ll probably integrate some small ads in the future as the site grows, because time and bandwidth aren’t free. I hope that no one takes this as a personal affront, but it’s really the only way I’ll be able to devote much time to sharing what I know.
