FluffyCo - Wholesale Apparel, Decor, & More

Thursday, May 31st, 2007

If you’ve ever spent hours combing lists of wholesalers and manufacturers, you’re probably aware that the vast majority of companies fall under just a few categories - candles, bath and body products, paper products, or strict decor lines. FluffyCo is definitely not like most companies.

If you hope to cater to a younger, hipper audience, you should definitely look into their product line. It’s all very casual and cool - and most importantly, affordable. Take a look at a couple of their pieces:

The one thing that irritates me about FluffyCo is their lack of contact information. In this case, if you wish to get in touch with them, you’ll need to navigate to their website and use their contact form.

Another Handy Resource - Projector Rentals

Friday, May 11th, 2007

There are times when a projector would be handy, but those time don’t come often enough to make me want to buy a projector. Apparently, though, you can RENT projectors, and there’s an entire business that caters to that need. Projector123.com is a service that specializes Seattle projector rental - actually, to almost anywhere you’d need a projector, but Seattle happens to be one of the cities they’re heavily targeting.

Anyway, they deliver by FedEx, which is handy. So - if you find yourself in need of a projector for your business, a tradeshow, a presentation, etc. - give them a try. They might be able to get you what you need.

Specialty Music Wholesaler - Village Square Music

Tuesday, May 8th, 2007

There’s not a whole lot of money to be made in “teeny-bopper music”, despite what MTV might have you believe. Oh sure, if you’re MTV, there’s money to be made - but for the little guy, it’s an uphill battle. Online, you deal with heavy price competition from major retailers, not to mention every Tom, Dick, and Harry who ripped the CD or got sick of it and decided to unload it on eBay. In a brick and mortar setting, you’re probably going to deal with an unbearably high theft rate.

So what’s a retailer to do?

Simple - Avoid the popular radio music and go for niche titles. Village Square Music in Nashville, Tennessee can help you out with a variety of titles.

Personally, I want them all. I’m a sucker for classics, and they’ve got a ton. I like almost everything I hear from 1990 and earlier. I should also point out that they use original recordings, not crappy random people in a studio somewhere. Here’s a bit of what Village Square Music has to offer:
